We are happy to announce that the results of the Building Bridges project were presented at the 17th IRDO International Conference “Socially Responsible Society 2022: Green, digital and inclusive transition: how to make it happen?” on June 2 0222.
At the conference, we presented Intellectual Output 1, the findings of the competencies questionnaire that was distributed at the begging of the project among youth (18-28 years old) in Belgium, Greece, Romania, and Slovenia. The title was “Circular economy and green entrepreneurship competencies by youth”, highlighting the importance of such entrepreneurial skill sets for individual and societal benefits while also identifying knowledge gaps among young people.
The IRDO International Conference was an official partner event of the EU Green Week (30 May to 5 June 2022). EU Green Week is an annual opportunity to debate European environmental policy with policymakers, leading environmentalists and stakeholders from Europe and beyond.
This year’s edition focused on the European Green Deal – the EU’s sustainable and transformative growth strategy for a resource-efficient and climate-neutral Europe by 2050.
